Everton should be making every effort to ensure that Hannibal’s transfer occurs because he is a talented player.

Nine of the midfielder’s twelve first team appearances this season have come since he joined Man United’s academy in 2019, having had little opportunities overall since leaving Monaco.

He played in 41 games last season while on loan at Birmingham City in the Championship, where he put up several valiant performances in addition to one goal and six assists.

Given their unwillingness to let him go without a buy-back clause, the Red Devils obviously believe he might be a promising player in the future.Now that they want to bolster their roster with younger players they might be able to turn a profit on down the road, it will be up to the Toffees to convince him that they are the best team to help him realize his potential.
