Arsenal tipped to lose two super stars during the transfer window

If Mikel Arteta trades players who are considered redundant to requirements this winter, he will have space for new Arsenal signings.

According to reports, Cedric Soares may be let to depart, but Jakub Kiwior’s advances may not be granted by Arsenal sporting director Edu during the January transfer window. This season, under Mikel Arteta, the two have battled for playing time since five defenders are clearly ahead of them in the pecking order.

This season, William Saliba, the center-back for Arsenal, has played the most minutes in the Premier League. Ben White, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Takehiro Tomiyasu are also among the top players; the latter has featured in 12 league outings.

The Poland international, who cost £21 million to sign from Italy, has less than a year left on his long-term contract, so Arsenal is not under any pressure to let him go. It’s thought that Arteta values his versatility as a defensive midfielder and across the back line.

Earlier this month, Kiwior acknowledged that his initial months with the Gunners were “tough,” but he also said that things are “getting easier” as his English gets better.
