After turning his USFL success from the previous spring into an opportunity with the Cardinals, Davis most recently ended up on the Texans practice squad, where he also played for a portion of the 2021 season.
The 27-year-old, who was released by Houston on December 27, was able to locate a new opportunity in Washington without any delay.
In the short time he has left before the season ends, he will try to make an impression.
