Andre Agassi thrilled tennis fans on Sunday when he was sighted in the royal box on Day 14 of Wimbledon.
Stepping out to see the Gentlemen’s Singles final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, the Grand Slam winner was accompanied by fellow tennis star Justin Gimelstob. Steffi Graf, Andre’s wife of 23 years and a fellow Wimbledon great, was noticeably absent from Centre Court.
Andre and Steffi, who married in 2001, first met at Wimbledon in 1992, thus the grounds carry many particular memories for them. They have two children: a daughter, Jaz, and a son, Jaden. Less than 24 hours before his arrival at Centre Court, Andre posted the most wonderful homage to Steffi.
On Instagram, the father-of-two published a video in which he googled Steffi’s numerous achievements. Fans were moved by the gesture, which they captioned with a love heart emoji. “I adore how much you admire her in all ways. “She was my all-time favorite growing up,” wrote one. “Steffi is the greatest of all time!” said a second. Meanwhile, a third person responded: “Proud hubby there!! Legend.
