The Packers rolled past the Minnesota Vikings 33-10 on Sunday night in Minneapolis. That set up a win-and-get-in game for the Packers next week at Lambeau Field. If the Packers beat the Chicago Bears, they’re in the playoffs. If they lose, that opens the door for the Seahawks or the Saints to make it in.
The Packers have the following options if they falter:
defeats at the hands of the Bucs, Seahawks, and Vikings OR the Saints, Seahawks, and Vikings
Despite the loss, the Vikings are still in the running for the postseason, but it won’t be simple.
They will need to defeat the Lions, followed by losses by the Packers, Seahawks, and Saints. They can also qualify if they defeat the Packers, Seahawks, and Bucs in addition to winning Sunday against the Lions.
If the Packers stumble, they have the following choices:losses to the Vikings, Bucs, and Seahawks OR the Saints, Seahawks, and VikingsThe Vikings are still alive for the postseason despite the loss, but it won’t be easy. The Packers, Seahawks, and Saints must lose before they can overcome the Lions. If they win on Sunday against the Lions and go on to defeat the Packers, Seahawks, and Bucs, they will also be eligible.
