Against the Seattle Storm, Angel Reese creates WNBA history which could be…

On Tuesday evening, the Seattle Storm and the Chicago Sky squared off. Fans were eager to see how rookie Angel Reese would perform against one of the finest forwards in the league, Nneka Ogwumike, on a busy day for the WNBA. Unfortunately, Tuesday’s show wasn’t the best from the Sky, much to the dismay of the Chicago home audience. On attack, they appeared clumsy and uncoordinated, repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot with errors. The Sky finished the 2024 season with a 2-3 record after losing to the Storm 77-68.

Even with this lackluster performance, Angel Reese was still able to create history. Angel Reese recorded his first career double-double in the contest on Tuesday. With a game-high 11 points and 12 rebounds, she achieved a career high. On the offensive end, six of those rebounds were obtained. Reese, who now leads the WNBA in offensive rebounds per game, has experienced this frequently.
