The Cardinals’ depth has been reduced by injury, but they still appear to have an abundance of outfield players.

He is a professional.257 hitter with 107 home runs who might be an inexpensive, ideal veteran bench option. The Cardinals have struggled all season long due to injuries. Although Carlson might return soon, it is still impossible to predict when Edman would do so. At the very least, bringing in someone like Pillar might assist provide some much-needed depth in the interim.
