Secured NFL Draft:Kansas State Star Cooper have reached an agreement with Baltimore Ravens

After losing three starters early in the summer, it is almost a given that the Baltimore Ravens will take care of their offensive line problems through the NFL Draft.

Starting guards John Simpson to the New York Jets and Kevin Zeitler to the Detroit Lions were lost by Baltimore. Morgan Moses, who was acquired by the Jets through trade, will also play right tackle.

Cooper Beebe, an offensive lineman from Kansas State, is one of the guys who can fill the position even if Baltimore has choices on staff. It would be foolish to wait to recruit an offensive lineman. As the “best gap blocker,” Bleacher Report ranked Beebe as the top offensive lineman available in the 2024 NFL Draft, citing Baltimore as one of the three teams that would be most suitable for him.

“This approach fits perfectly into the sawed-off, 320-plus-pound consensus All-American’s playing style, via which he excelled as a battering ram with enough movement skills to line up and delete targets as a puller,” says Bleacher Report. “Add in Beebe’s positional versatility with seven or more starts at three different positions, and it becomes easier to project his ability to convert what he put on film in college to the pro game, whether that’s at guard or center.”

Christian Hayes of UCONN, an offensive lineman, and Christian Mahogany of Boston College, an offensive lineman, were also listed as ideal fits for the Ravens.

Having spent the majority of his collegiate career at left guard, Beebe has started numerous games at left tackle, right guard, and left guard. Because of his play at left guard, the 6-foot-3, 322-pound offensive lineman was chosen to the first team of the Big 12, the first team All-American, and the conference’s Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2023.

Because of his versatility, Beebe should be a desirable pick for the Ravens early in the draft. His versatility as a three-position player can help Baltimore have alternatives when selecting the best five linemen to start in front of Lamar Jackson in the upcoming season, which is crucial considering Jackson’s history of injuries and the uncertainty surrounding their offensive line.
