Venue

The Sports Palace, also known as the Kozhomkul Sports Palace, is a sports complex with a distinctive architectural style that stands out among the structures in Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Constructed in the Soviet era in 1974, this captivating edifice draws a lot of tourists all year round with its distinctive façade, which includes six columns supporting the interior stands and a front wall adorned with a mysterious pattern that depicts how everything inside the building moves.

The fact that this design is applied to a larger complex and features an impressive statue of Baatyr Kaba Uulu Kozhomkul, the national figure of Kyrgyzstan, makes it stand out among other architectural styles from that era, even though some may think otherwise.
