This season, the Boston Celtics have been all but unbeatable. The club made some changes and added some new players after the previous season’s disappointment. Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis are two of these new pieces. Boston is now leading the Eastern Conference as a result of these actions. Porzingis, in particular, has been excellent for the team this season.

The Boston Celtics have listed Kristaps Porzing is as questionable ahead of their Christmas Day game against the Los Angeles Lakers, according to the pool report. Other players on the injury report include former Lakers Svi Mykhailuk and former Cavaliers Lamar Stevens. The Lakers have listed Anthony Davis, Cam Reddish, and LeBron James as questionable.
Marcus Smart, a veteran floor general for the Celtics, was transferred to a new team as part of a huge trade that included Porzingis. Fans of Boston were understandably a little worried. But Porzingis fully justified the team’s confidence in him. His rim-protecting skills offered another level of defense to the Celtics, who had just lost Robert Williams III. In addition, he is able to play longer than Williams because of his outside shooting.
But the Celtics haven’t had as much access to Porzingis as they would have liked. Due to injuries, the star center has missed seven of Boston’s last twelve games. Nevertheless, Boston’s roster depth allows them to consistently produce victories.
After winning the NBA In-Season Tournament, the Lakers are reeling and will be facing the Celtics. LA has been having a lot of difficulties lately. Boston must continue to be vigilant against LA, though.
