Following Sean Dyche’s claim that Abdoulaye Doucouré has sustained another hamstring injury, Everton appears to be without the Frenchman’s services for an extended period of time.
Despite missing five games recently, Doucouré was able to play the entire ninety minutes of Aston Villa’s goalless draw last Sunday.
He was ruled out of tonight’s FA Cup replay against Crystal Palace, though, since he did not train yesterday.
Following the 1-0 replay triumph, Dyche said that the 31-year-old had hurt his hamstring in his other thigh, though it was too soon to determine the extent of the damage.
While Doucouré’s management expressed optimism that the injury would heal fast, it is unlikely that he will play in the club’s fourth-round match against Luton Town in ten days.
