He chose Texas over Purdue and Texas A\&M, citing the program’s welcoming culture and the feeling of “home” he experienced during his visit. Berymon’s commitment marks the Longhorns’ first defensive tackle pledge of the 2026 cycle, adding significant size and strength to their defensive front.
Jake Collett, a 6-foot, 175-pound kicker from Ringgold, Georgia, is regarded as one of the top specialists in the nation. At the 2025 Midwest Showcase Camp, he showcased his prowess by winning the kickoff competition and demonstrating field goal range up to 65 yards. Collett had previously received offers from Army and UConn and had been in contact with programs like Georgia, LSU, and Miami.
