The Denver Nuggets have been struggling to start the season, and that’s not because of Nikola Jokic.

The three-time MVP has been putting up impressive numbers, but that didn’t stop former NBA player Lou Williams from giving his two cents on Jokic. Williams said on FanDuel’s Run it Back that Karl-Anthony Towns, whom Jokic faced in the playoffs last season, is more skillful than the Nuggets star. “Is KAT a more skilled guy? Absolutely,” said Williams. “[But] I think Jokic is more impactful [in] the way that he approaches the game. He doesn’t try to go out and be the best shooter – he tries to get the ball to the best shooter. He puts guys in a position to be successful outside of himself. I think that’s what sets them apart.”

Former Nuggets player Bones Hyland saw the comment and barked back at Williams, saying, “Lost ya mind brother.” Jokic has been doing everything for the Nuggets, who are 4-3 in the West, by averaging a triple-double of 29.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 10.6 assists per game this season.
