The Sydney Roosters are pleased to reveal the starting lineup for their Round 26 matchup against the Canberra Raiders at Allianz Stadium this Sunday afternoon. It will be a historic day for the Club as we celebrate The Steggles Roosters Charity Nest and hold our first-ever Emergency Services Event at our final home game of the regular NRL season.
A triple-header of Father’s Day football action will begin at 4.05 p.m. with our NRL matchup against the Canberra Raiders and Round 6 NRLW action following at 6.30 p.m.
To honor the fantastic work that the Charity conducts, the NRL Squad will be sporting a shirt with a Charity Nest theme. After the game, the jerseys will be up for sale, with all proceeds going to the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest. In addition, it’s our first-ever Emergency Services Match, highlighting the vital work that first responders, emergency services, and medical personnel do in the community.
Be sure to arrive early as the Allianz Precinct comes alive from 1.15pm with Emergency Service demonstrations and stalls!The NSW Police will then lead a spectacular pre-game show, showcasing their breadth of excellence and experience.Highlights include-A dramatic police helicopter display, thrilling abseiling from the stadium roof, riot and dog squads, a marching band, and much more -Make sure you’re in your seat by 3:30pm!
