After a stellar 2022 season ending in a near Super Bowl victory, the Philadelphia Eagles stumbled late last year, eventually falling to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the postseason.

Philadelphia lost six of their final seven games, with the offense becoming nearly nonexistent during that stretch. Quarterback Jalen Hurts threw for six touchdowns against five interceptions during the season’s final month and a half, leading to questions surrounding tension building between him and the coaching staff.

Rumors circulated late last season that Hurts, play-caller Brian Johnson, and head coach Nick Sirianni were at odds regarding the direction of the offense.

Those same rumors seeped into the 2024 offseason, much to the displeasure of Hurts. On Wednesday, the signal-caller shut down any speculation of tension between him and Sirianni.
