Fletcher Cox announced his retirement in March. The Eagles traded Haason Reddick to the New York Jets in April after electing not to boost his salary. Reddick’s contract demands are causing problems for the Jets, and he is refusing to begin training camp.

The Eagles did acquire a quality pass rusher in free agency. Bryce Huff, a former New York Jets defensive end, will give depth to an aging defensive line. The Eagles did re-sign Brandon Graham on a one-year contract, but he will not return to Philadelphia following the season.
Brandon Graham plans to retire after the season
According to KRON 4’s interpretation of Graham’s statements on Wednesday, the Eagles’ 2010 first-round choice intends to retire at the end of the 2024 season:

“I’m thankful man, just trying to enjoy everyday,” Graham said. “Not in no rush. Obviously I’m talking to y’all on the first day, usually I’d be inside. But it’s my last year man. So I’m just trying to soak it all in. Trying to enjoy everyday. Trying to give it everything. No stone unturned.”
