The Arizona Cardinals face significant challenges, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. The Cardinals recruited in free agents Justin Jones and Bilal Nichols to go with first-round pick Darius Robinson in hopes of fully rebuilding the defensive line, which was a glaring weakness for the Cardinals in 2023.
Arizona looks for considerably better success at the line of scrimmage with a nearly entirely new lineup in place. However, Pro Football Focus does not believe that will happen. Arizona’s defensive line finished worst out of 32 teams in PFF’s current rankings. “Rookie Darius Robinson has every chance to be the Cardinals’ best defensive lineman immediately, which says everything about where this group is,” Monson said.
After Robinson-Jones-Nichols, names such as L.J. Collier and Dante Stills are anticipated to contribute after previously playing for Arizona last season.
