In the Western Conference Finals, the Dallas Mavericks led the series 2-0 going into Game 3. Star Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves is aware that Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic can easily lead Dallas to victory in the closing minutes of a game. Following the Timberwolves’ Sunday morning shoot-around, he talked about how crucial it is to limit errors when facing the Mavs.
Edwards remarked, “Man, they got closers with Luka and Kyrie.” Therefore, you cannot make errors in the last stages… They can toss the ball to two guys and tell them to “go get a bucket.” However, we committed numerous errors. Last game, I turned it over. Late in the previous game, we committed a few mistakes. And we simply handed it away in the opening game.
The Mavs are a very good squad overall. Without a doubt, Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively II have improved the series. On both ends of the court, PJ Washington and Derrick Jones Jr. are capable of making huge plays.

There are several clubs in the league with one closer. Dallas puts more pressure on opponents because it has two superstars who can finish games. Both Doncic and Irving have the ability to step up when things count and guide their teams to victory.
To start the series, Doncic has averaged 32.5 points, 10.5 assists, and 8.0 rebounds per game. In Game 2, Luka also made the shot that ended up winning the match.
Doncic has persevered in playing after suffering injuries. His leadership and tenacity have been invaluable to this Mavericks club. When the lights are brightest, he appears to play even better as a player. With regard to Kyrie Irving, the same is true. A huge first game for Irving. In Game 2, his numbers weren’t particularly impressive. Nonetheless, he had a huge influence.
Throughout the series, the seasoned guard is averaging 25 points, 5.0 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game. Throughout the season, Kyrie’s leadership has been a topic of discussion. Dallas now has a dependable superstar thanks to his experience.
Additionally, Doncic and Irving have grown close to one another. It seems like the two like doing performances together. After Kyrie was traded to Dallas to join Luka, there were times when their future was questioned. But it makes sense to presume that they have suppressed their critics. Even so, the star players for the Mavericks want to do more than silence their doubters. To win the crown is their primary goal. The Mavericks needed six victories at the time this story was written to get there. Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals is scheduled to start in Dallas on Sunday night at 8 PM EST. The Mavericks want to take a commanding 3-0 series lead.
