LeBron won’t find a lifestyle that suits him better than what he has in L.A., and the roster can still compete for a title over the next two or three seasons if they make improvements by targeting All-Star players. Expect James to reject his $51.4 million player option to sign a long-term deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.
2. Tyrese Maxey – Philadelphia 76ers.
Tyrese Maxey won’t be making any progress at all. He is awaiting a contract worth over $200 million, and Joel Embiid, one of his incredible teammates, is eager to have him on his club. The fans of the 76ers adore him, and it has been amazing to witness him develop from a prospect to an All-Star and Most Improved Player. Only twenty-three-year-old Maxey has much more to offer.
Maxey, who averages 25.9 points per game this season, has the potential to elevate the 76ers to the status of serious title contenders in the upcoming campaign, particularly if they decide to pursue one of the top free agents this summer. The 76ers understand that the guard is committed to improving as a playmaker, which is why they will contract him this summer for a little over $200 million. 3. Philadelphia 76ers player Paul George.
It’s probably Paul George’s last season in Los Angeles. The Clippers have ended a somewhat unsuccessful experiment by not offering George a max contract. Because George found it difficult to stay healthy, the Clippers nearly never succeeded in reaching their season-long objectives. Other than that, the squad fell short of expectations and only advanced as far as the Western Conference Finals in 2021. George, who averages 22.6 points per game while shooting 41.3% from three-point range, is still a top-tier two-way wing player. He is therefore a fantastic fit for the 76ers. Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid are in need of a wing player that can both score and defend, and he would be the ideal replacement for the outgoing Tobias.
4. Pascal Siakam – Indiana Pacers
It is improbable that Pascal Siakam will be allowed to walk by the Indiana Pacers. Alongside Tyrese Haliburton, he was this year’s big signing and helped lead the team to the Eastern Conference Finals. One of the NBA’s top power forwards, Siakam will probably return to the Pacers. With almost $200 million in earnings, Siakam will find it difficult to leave the Pacers. The Pacers will probably have a top-five offence moving forward with to Rick Carlisle’s excellent coaching and the playmaking abilities of Haliburton, so Siakam won’t be able to miss being a part of it.
5. OG Anunoby – New York Knicks
The Knicks almost made it to the Eastern Conference Finals without Julius Randle who was out with a major injury. Pushing the Pacers to seven games before crashing out, the Knicks have an exciting roster led by superstar Jalen Brunson. OG Anunoby is a key part of what the Knicks want to do going forward.
The swingman is one of the best on-ball defenders in the NBA and can also space the floor well. He shot 38.2% from three this season and no doubt enjoys being a key player for one of the most iconic franchises in sports. Anunoby is loved by Knicks fans and a $160 million deal could see him running it back for the long term.
6. James Harden – Los Angeles Clippers
