There will be a WNBA season in which Angel Reese will participate. With the draft celebrations, the recently drafted rebounder has been having the time of her life. She is aware of how to properly care for her loved ones, though. She is constantly seen returning the love and support that she has received, in one form or another, off the court.
She has once again thought of a way to support a special someone who has supported her since she was a young child dribbling with a passion for basketball in her heart. Let’s introduce her to Jimmy Price, her very first basketball coach.

Their friendship began when Angel began teaching her how to play better when she was in the eighth grade. For the past 20 years, Price has been a personal friend of the Reese family. He grew up playing hoops with Angel Webb, Angel’s mother. Webb trusted Price to steer her, Angel, and Julian in the direction of basketball.
Price gave Reese the nickname “The Big Ticket” and nicknamed her after noticing her skill level at such a young age. He told Reese, “One day, people are gonna pay to watch you play,” which was like an affirmation from him because he had already witnessed what the world was realising at the time. He also advised Reese to never show her back to her girly side because it can take her places. As it turned out, today Angel is making millions from her NIL deals.
Regarding Price, he owns ShotReadyElite, a basketball training facility. It’s a Baltimore-based company that concentrates on St. Frances region player development. For Reese, Price has acted as a father figure. He flew from Baton Rouge to Reese to work out with her before the draft as her “big homie.”
Reese and Price were taken back in time by the workout, as they had been practicing from 9:30 to approximately 11 p.m. one night. They arrived the following morning even before the sun rose. It was exactly like their after-school workouts at St. Frances and their early morning 5 a.m.
Over the years, Price taught Reese invaluable tactics and methods. See how he transformed Reese.
