The Pistons are either keeping things close to the vest or haven’t reached that point in the process because we haven’t heard anything from the team regarding names or interviews. Either one is alarming and poses some queries regarding the franchise’s internal operations.
Months ago, why wasn’t this done? The Detroit Pistons may be holding off on interviewing potential players who are still in the playoffs, but they already have a strong idea of who they want to interview.
And they ought to, given that the season ended before Thanksgiving. However, when precisely was the decision to appoint a new POBO made? Throughout the historic 28-game losing run? the day the season came to an end?
