Denver Nuggets Banks on Nikola Jovic to clinch Big deal

On Sunday, the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Nuggets were added to the list of teams who have been confirmed for the NBA postseason. The winners’ Nikola Jokic was in outstanding form as he recorded a triple-double against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he wasn’t the only noteworthy player. Luka Doncic, Victor Wembanyama, and LeBron James all had memorable Easter Days.

“Supernova” Nikola Jokic helped the defending champion Denver Nuggets earn a trip to the NBA playoffs on Sunday, and LeBron James and Vincent Wembanyama both had outstanding individual performances.

As the season’s official conclusion draws near, teams in both Conferences are vying for postseason spots.

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets joined the Boston Celtics, who had been the first team out of the Eastern Conference to qualify, on Easter Sunday.

In the champs’ 130-101 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jokic recorded a triple-double with 26 points, 18 rebounds, and 16 assists.
Denver’s victory was spurred by the Serbian’s 22nd triple of the year and 128th of his career, which came despite a persistent wrist injury.
After suffering back-to-back losses in Denver to the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Phoenix Suns, the Nuggets got back on track at home to make the playoffs for the sixth consecutive season.

Starting in place of the injured Jamal Murray, Reggie Jackson scored 19 points, matching Michael Porter Jr.’s total, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope tallied a season-high 22 points.
But Jokic made the most news and received a lot of credit from his teammate following the match.
Regarding Jokic, Jackson stated, “He’s one of the most gifted scorers in this league and he doesn’t want to score.”
Because of his desire to pass the ball and play the right way, he is very challenging to guard.
“If you play the right way, you always got a chance to get a shot,” the speaker continued.That star is the brightest star; it’s a supernova. He really is the sun. He is the centre of attention for everything.

In dramatic fashion, Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the New York Knicks 113–112 in the final seconds to secure their postseason spot.
With 2.6 seconds remaining, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander converted a jumper from the corner to secure his team’s spot in the postseason for the first time in four years.
With his third career triple-double of 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists, Josh Giddey led Thunder to a 52–22 victory at the top of the Western Conference.
“Excellent achievement for the team,” Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault exclaimed.
“I am ecstatic for the group and the organisation. And in order to get ready, we now need to keep honing our craft down the stretch.
