Although Allen’s current contract only has one year left on it, it is anticipated that Chicago would eventually sign him to a longer deal after trading for a fourth-round pick.

Even though Allen was a significant addition for Chicago, expect the Bears to add more receivers this offseason. which implies that they will probably select a rookie in the NFL Draft. With any luck, Chicago could be able to select Rome Odunze or Malik Nabers, who in any other draft cycle would be WR1 possibilities.
