Michigan football announced a recently hired High ranked official.

Sherrone Moore, the head coach of the football team at Michigan, has been working assembling this coaching staff. On Monday, he went one step further and enlisted Kevin Wilkins, the right-hand man of defensive coordinator Wink Martindale, as a defensive analyst.

Wilkins has nine years of NFL experience and is quite familiar with the defensive strategy Michigan football will employ, so that was a really wise move. Under Jesse Minter and Mike Macdonald, the Wolverines have been using the same approach.

On Monday, though, Josh Henschke of Rivals provided additional information about the coaching staff when he revealed that Mike Hart, the running backs coach, is absent from the team due to “personal reasons.” There wasn’t and shouldn’t be any further information. We hope that Coach Hart’s situation will be handled quickly and send him our best wishes.

A former football player for Michigan has added a graduate assistant.
Former starting quarterback for the Michigan football team in 2021, Brad Hawkins, will rejoin the team as a graduate assistant. In his Wolverines career, which spanned from 2017 to 2021, he totaled 178 tackles. He was well known for forcing a critical turnover that proved to be the game-winning play for the Wolverines against Nebraska in 2021.

Hawkins played for a while with the New England Patriots after being signed by the NFL as a rookie free agency. He will now return to Ann Arbor for the upcoming season to work as Sherrone Moore’s graduate assistant.
