Hyderabad took home the bronze medal and Sukkur the silver. Karachi won the gold in the women’s final, while Larkana took home the silver and Hyderabad the bronze. The final score was 14-3 for Karachi.
Trophies, medals, and mementos were distributed among the players and officials by Abdul Wahab, Farah Saeed, Vice President of the Softball Federation of Pakistan (SFP), President of the Sindh Softball Association (SSA), Omar Saeed, President Asif Azeem, Chairperson Yasmin Hyder, and Vice President Tehmina Asif. The men’s championship tournament saw Muhammad Munaf of Sukkur emerge as the top batter, Faraz Ijaz of Karachi emerge as the best pitcher, and Kamran Shah of Hyderabad emerge as the best catcher. The top pitcher in the women’s competition was Fozia Baloch of Larkana, the greatest batter was Sabeen Gul of Karachi, and the best catcher was Mercline Pervez of Karachi.
On this particular occasion, chief guest Farah Saeed stated that the Sindh Games’ organization not only gave the athletes plenty of chances to showcase their skills but also fostered a greater sense of mutual love, unity, and sportsmanship among them. “I have no doubt that the athletes who excelled in the competition will be able to play for Pakistan’s and Sindh’s national softball teams in the future.”
Dr. Farhan Essa, the president of SSA, praised each team for their outstanding discipline throughout the competition. He said that the players who stood out in the competition will receive invitations to the Sindh team’s training camp for the National Softball Championship.
