Step 5 of the Non-League Pyramid is home to Buckland Athletic FC, a member of the Toolstation Western League since 2012.

With Paige Burrows serving as the club physiotherapist and Shane Reavey serving as the first team performance analyst, the team is currently run by Dan Hart with assistance from Mark Blackwell and Todd Hanrahan.

For the 2023–2024 season, Buckland Athletic Reserves will rejoin the South Devon Football League and compete in Division One.

Martin Brown is the manager at the moment.

Our Reserves home league games at Homers Heath are free to attend.

We at Homers Heath offer a sizable event space available for a range of business events, such as meetings and conferences.

Since Buckland Athletic FC was founded in 1977 as a junior football team, we have catered to a wide range of age groups in our junior section with the goal of providing football for young boys and girls in our neighborhood. Our current roster of teams includes:

Boys’ under-8 (3 teams)
Boys’ under-9 (3 teams)
Boys under ten
Boys under the age of eleven
Boys under the age of twelve
Boys under 14
Boys under the age of eighteen
Girls under the age of thirteen
Girls under the age of fifteen
