AWESOME: Saints players had fun at The Krewe of Tucks Party.

The Krewe of Tucks traveled the Uptown route in New Orleans on Saturday, February 10. Among the New Orleans Saints players that joined the group were Rashid Shaheed, Malcolm Roach, Khalen Saunders, Erik McCoy, Tanoh Kpassagnon, D’Marco Jackson, Nephi Sewell, and Payton Turner.

The subject of this year’s parade was “Tucks faces the music,” and it had nearly 2000 participants and 37 floats.

A group of Loyola University undergraduates founded the Krewe of Tucks in 1969. The Uptown bar Friar Tuck’s is where the club got its name. In 2017, Dracos Morvant and Captain Lloyd Frischhertz established the Tucks Charitable Foundation. The Children’s Hospital, Krewe De Camp, and Magnolia Community Services have been the foundation’s three main beneficiaries since its founding. The Tucks Foundation has raised more than $100,000 for several Gulf South nonprofits.
