In the NBA, Jaylen Brown has made a name for himself as one of the most prolific in-game dunkers.

It seems that he might be eager to advance those abilities in the Slam Dunk Contest.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that Brown is “seriously considering” entering the competition.

Later this week, the NBA will make public the whole roster of players, and Charania thinks Brown will be there.

According to Charania, Brown has been considering the idea for a few weeks and seems to be really considering it.

Brown will already be in Indianapolis because he is an All-Star.

The greatest players in the history of the sport formerly ruled the Dunk Contest: Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, Dr. J, Clyde Drexler, Blake Griffin, and Donovan Mitchell, among many more. Hamidou Diallo, Derrick Jones Jr., Anfernee Simons, Obi Toppin, and G-League player Mac McClung are the last five Dunk Contest winners.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Jaylen Brown of Boston is “strongly considering” participating in the Dunk Contest in an attempt to change that.
