Blinksportsnews247Scottish Premier League club Dundee have announced the signing of Ryan Astley from Everton for an undisclosed fee.According to Dundee’s official website (January 18), the 22-year-old defender has joined the club on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The Scottish outfit added that the transfer for the player from the Goodison Park outfit is subject to international clearance.

Everton won’t want to lose too many players this month as they look for some stability amid the financial worries behind the scenes.
Manager Sean Dyche won’t, however, lose sleep over the exit of Astley, who spent the first half of the season with the club’s Under-21 side.
He was previously on loan at Accrington Stanley and made 32 appearances for the League One side in the 2022/23 season.Joining Everton’s academy at the age of nine is an emotional farewell for the defender, but there is plenty of excitement for his next adventure.
Dundee are sure to bring in a player now and in the future and Astley should be a solid addition as the youngster has represented Wales at under-21 level.
After a winter break, Astley’s new club return to action in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup at Kilmarnock on Saturday (January 20).
They then return to the league, with their trip to Hearts on Tuesday (January 23) representing their first Scottish Premier League game since the break..
