Colombian striker Jhon Cordoba has been linked to Nottingham Forest. El VBar Caracol reports that Crystal Palace, a Premier League foe, is also considering the 30-year-old Krasnodar midfielder as “an option to reinforce the attack” for the Reds.

The Colombian international Cordoba joined Krasnodar from Hertha Berlin in July 2021 and has scored 28 goals in 53 league games.

In his last stint at Cologne, he scored 33 goals in 78 league appearances. According to reports, he has a deal with the Russian team that expires in 2025.

With no fresh acquisitions made thus far, the Reds’ January transfer window has started quietly.

However, Nuno Espirito Santo has stated that he wants to work with a simplified squad overhaul, so managing outgoings was always going to be the top objective.
