Roster Upgrade: Bruins Assign Brandon Bussi to Providence

Boston: Goalie Brandon Bussi has been assigned to Providence by the Boston Bruins, according to a statement made by general manager Don Sweeney today, January 16.

The 25-year-old Bussi has made 20 appearances for Providence this season, going 10-6-3 overall with a 2.94 goals against average and a.901 save percentage. With an overall record of 35-13-7, the 6-foot-4, 218-pound goalie has played in 57 AHL games with Providence in his career. In 2022, Boston signed the native of Sound Beach, New York as a free agent.
