In light of potential Arsenal transfers, Everton manager Sean Dyche speaks out about Amadou Onana’s future.

Although allegations linking Amadou Onana to Arsenal have surfaced, Everton manager Sean Dyche has not ruled out the prospect of players moving during the transfer season and maintains that it is not part of his present plans.

Profit and sustainability laws have caused the club to struggle financially over the last 18 months; last season, they resulted in a 10-point deduction for breaking these standards.

Six months after Richarlison was sold to Tottenham for £60 million, they sold Anthony Gordon to Newcastle for £45 million in January of last year.

After Beto and Youssef Chermiti arrived for a combined £41 million, other players like Alex Iwobi, Demarai Gray, Tom Cannon, and Niels Nkounkou were also sold in the summer to balance the books.

Rumors have linked midfielder Onana to Arsenal during the January transfer window, and Lyon is supposedly interested in Villarreal forward Arnaut Danjuma, who is currently on loan and hasn’t played much.

Since Everton’s roster is small, any more cuts may be detrimental, although Dyche cannot totally rule out departures.

He stated: “We are in a position to do the best we can with the team we have got but we are in the position where if the right deal came along…” He continued: “But you’ve seen how quiet it is in January and we are certainly not thinking of players going out of the building.”

Dyche denied the rumors of Danjuma, who just uploaded a photo of a private plane on social media. “He plays for Everton, so the issue is fairly straightforward. Before his team’s match against Aston Villa, Dyche stated, “He’s still here, he played in the last game and he has a fair chance of playing in the next one too.”

Dyche stated, “He’s been heavily linked before I was here and after,” in reference to Onana. It’s simply one more tale. We will make all player decisions because he plays for Everton.”
