Transfer News: Everton’s new target Michy Batshuayi Not the right man right now…..

Levent Umit Erol claims that Everton may make their first January transfer move as soon as they submit a £3 million offer to sign Michy Batshuayi from Fenerbahce.

The Turkish journalist claimed on Twitter that Everton is banging on doors with a bid ready and pushing that the deal close.

Following several loan stints, Batshuayi transferred from Chelsea to Fenerbahce in 2022, and the Toffees are now eager to welcome the Belgian back to England in January.

Batshuayi last participated in an English game while on loan at Crystal Palace. He returned for a full season in South London but was less successful than when he first signed in January 2019, when he scored five goals in 11 Premier League games. This time, he only managed two goals in 18 appearances.

after then, he has scored 14 goals in 33 games while on loan at Besiktas and 15 in 28 after joining Fenerbahce permanently, demonstrating that his goal-scoring ability is still unmatched.

Given that Beto and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are both struggling and have only scored four Premier League goals between them thus far, Everton may decide to sign a new striker in January to provide their front line a more reliable source of goals.

Batshuayi will be a good addition if he can maintain the level of play he displayed during his first stint at Crystal Palace. Though his second stint in South London showed that he may struggle in a club that predominantly needs a target forward, his eye for goal and clinical finishing can be vital, and that could worry Everton.
