Liverpool neighbor faces sad fate

For those who are interested in the legal and regulatory aspects of football, this has been an interesting week. It was reported that the Premier League is attempting to dock Liverpool’s nearby rival Everton as many as 12 points.

According to the Telegraph article, Everton’s punishment has not yet been determined, and the league does not have the last say over the FFP matter. There’s new information regarding two more Premier League teams. Chelsea’s self-reported financial issues from the previous ownership are being investigated, but one side appears to be out of the woods in terms of FFP after a summer fire sale.
